Flowers
Most couples want the church to be decorated with floral arrangements in appropriate colours. You have the choice, here, of
either engaging a professional florist to do this work for you, or using a special Wedding Flowers service, which the church
is happy to provide. If you use the church provision, floral arrangements will be done according to your specifications and
in full consultation with you. You will pay only for the cost of the flowers. No additional charge is made and this is a
non-profit making service, which the church provides. You will be guaranteed an excellent floral service. This scheme is
co-ordinated by Miss Beth Anderson and if you wish to use the church provision, the minister will be happy to put you in touch
with her.
Remember, the flowers are YOUR flowers, and you should indicate as to their distribution after the service. You may wish that
they remain in the church for the following Sunday`s service, and be distributed at the church`s discretion thereafter. It
is your call, however.
Use of the Church
It should go without saying that we expect the church and its surrounds to be treated with respect by you and your guests. We
respectfully request that your guests do NOT throw confetti. Rice is quite acceptable as it is bio-degradable and can be eaten
by birds!
We have to charge a fee for the use of the church; also, our Organist and Church Officer should be paid. Current details are
given at the end of these notes but these are regularly reviewed so it would be prudent to check with the minister.
