Youth group meets on a Sunday night in our large hall from 8.00 to 9.30pm. We are open to all secondary school pupils and have a very mixed and creative program. We hope that those who come along have the opportunity to find out about God and have a
great time too.
Some of the events we have had in the last year include:
Going to Soul Survivor
Pimp my Hot Chocolate
Wide Games
Making the YG DVD
Going to Frenzy
Exploring relationships, self-image, justice...
Going to local youth events in Leith
Multiplayer Halo Tournaments

In October this year (2007) we launched a new weekly Youth Alpha course for 11-14 year olds. This is a place to to find out who Jesus really is and how Christianity and real life fit together. It's a place to belong, a place to ask
the tough questions and chat through the issues, a place to have fun and be challenged.
During the course we'll be exploring themes such as:
Why did Jesus have to die?
How can I be sure of my faith?
Who the Holy Spirit is
Why and how should I read the Bible?
Does God heal today?

In addition to the weekly course, we have a weekend away planned from Fri 9th - Sun 11th November. |

In August last year we launched a brand new weekly discipleship program on Thursday nights called
"Moose". This is a place to go deep in your faith, explore what a
personal relationship with Jesus is about, discover your gifts, explore your calling, learn how to pray, and become a
disciple of Jesus.
This session we are exploring:
My relationship with Jesus
Praying for others with authority
A Lifestyle of Worship
Hope 2008

Our youth ministry exists to share God's good news with young people, to help
them belong to God's family so they can grow in their faith in order to serve and honour
Him with their lives.
